DEWALT DW744XRS Jobsite Portable Table Saw Customer/User Review

***** 5 Stars By Doug Construction “Love the saw”

As a contractor I have 2 of the saws that get plenty of use and abuse. They are utilized outdoors a lot and typically get rained on and don’t skip a beat, we don’t operate them while in the rain. The stand and rip fence are worth the extra costs over other brands. In this price range I have not seen some other brand with a comparable fence. The only other jobsite saw that comes near overall is the Bosch 4100.

There is one thing which you have to think of. This saw is made for jobsite works like ripping the last strip of flooring, ripping filler panels for kitchen cabinets (hidden cut face), extension jambs, and so on and never for fine cabinetry work... They do a very good job of it. They likewise function much smoother than the low-priced brands which make a great difference when cutting tapers free hand. Certainly with a little thought you can use these for fine work on small parts, remove the mitre gauge and build a sled, a couple of dollars in material and a bit of time will net you the ability to do cuts that rival what the very best full size saws can come up with.

In general, this table saw is known as the best if you wish to simply pull it out of the truck and instantly produce a high quality cut only a few seconds after you plug it in.
